Robert C. Boyce, founder of Natural Environments and Lake Zurich Florist, has been passionate about the "Green Industry" since he was a child. In the early 1980s, Boyce helped pioneer the art and science of native landscaping, becoming an expert at prairie, wetland, and woodland restoration, installation, and maintenance. 

Highland Park High School

Since 2010, the Environmental Science Department at Highland Park High School has utilized Ed’s home organic garden space and created The Highland Park High School S.P.I.N. Garden (Small Plot INtensive). Our new endeavor the Organic Teaching Garden will provide students with the opportunity to experience real sustainable agricultural solutions outside of the classroom.
